Viewpoint of San Nicola

The most high point of the Island of Ischia, the summit of Mount Epomeo is also a breathtaking panorama. Wonderful view of the sunrise and sunset, during the most bright days, from Capri to Sorrento, Naples and Vesuvio, phlegrean seashore, Gaeta, Capo Circeo up to the far Ponza, Palmarola.

The Belvedere is situated on the summit of Monte Epomeo, the most high part of the Island, 789 m above the sea level. With 15 minutes on foot you arrive to the summit and so the belvedere.

Other paths lead to the summit of Monte Epomeo, one from Pietra dell’acqua and one from Falanga, but they are exclusive for excursionists and mountain keens.
